Enjoyed hiking nearby and had a great time washing my clothes in the communal laundry room. The garden terrace was lovely to relax in, but honestly, who needs a shower or proper views when you have railings and a farm entrance to gaze at?

Who needs a functioning TV or wifi connection anyway? Such overrated amenities.

The cottage had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful decorations that made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible for someone like me, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas. It was perfect for senior people like me to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

It would have been even better if there were handrails in the bathrooms to provide extra support for senior people.

The rural townhouse was very comfortable and spacious with great facilities. Easy parking and only a 10-minute drive to Pickering with its restaurants and famous railway to Whitby. the nearby Blackbull Inn is also a fantastic place to visit.

We recently stayed at Beck House Cottages and had a wonderful time. The location on the edge of North Yorkshire Moors was absolutely stunning and provided us with lovely walks right from our doorstep. The cottages were well laid out and had been tastefully refurbished to a modern standard. We stayed in Rose cottage, which was comfortable and clean. The highlight for us was the delightful garden area, where we were entertained by the ducks and hens. Plus, the added bonus of having wifi, as there is no network signal in the area, made our stay even more enjoyable.

Although we had a great experience, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. there was no mirror or dressing table in the cottage, which was a bit inconvenient for us as we were attending a wedding.
